Omar is interested in optics, lithographic systems and photonics. His research at CNTech is aimed at the development of next generation maskless array synthesizers. This work will lead to the creation of DNA microarrays with a higher density of features than are currently available. More features will in turn lead to more efficient and complex biological studies.
