Orientation
Everyone who uses any facilities at CNTech must first go through our orientation procedure. This applies to all students as well as to all outside users: no one is allowed to work at CNTech as a “guest” of a registered user.
To schedule orientation:
Contact Quinn Leonard, lab manager for CNTech. He will schedule and conduct your general orientation to the CNTech facilities at Stoughton, and will help you contact other people to fill your specific training needs.
Before you arrive for orientation:
- Read and understand the general rules for use of the CNTech cleanrooms.
- Read and understand the cleanroom process guidelines.
- Know what you want to do in the lab. You don’t need to know the name of every tool or photoresist you will use, but you should have a good idea of what you want to accomplish.
- Send Quinn a description of your research, if you haven’t already.
- Finish your SRC training, if you haven’t already.
